The 18th Festival of Tolerance ended on Sunday evening at the II Palaces in Zadar after screening the last 10 films from the rich four-day program, and the Audience Award for Best Film was presented.

"Loveable", the film that also opened the festival, is the best film of the 18th Festival of Tolerance based on audience opinions. Everyone could relate to this complex Norwegian drama and truly "feel" it, which focuses on a complicated marital relationship and deals with psychologically charged situations that are mirrored in other aspects of life. The film was awarded at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival with Special Jury Prize and Best Actress Award. The winner of the award was announced by Ivan Šimunić, the Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of Zadar County.

The first edition of the Zadar Festival of Tolerance, which took place last week, mostly featured film premieres selected by Snježana Tribuson and Boško Picula. The audience could choose from 28 titles, including the Oscar-nominated and the Sundance Film Festival prize-winning documentary "Sugarcane" about institutional child abuse, the five-time French César award-winning sci-fi adventure allegory "Animal Kingdom" and domestic films such as "Žarko, You Will Spoil the Child", revolving around family anecdotes from the life of the artist Tisja KljakovićAs many as ten films were screened on the final day, Sunday, and the festival was closed with the aptly entitled "All Shall Be Well", as part of which the Audience Award for Best Film was presented.
