While the parents entertain guests one night, a child pulls on a pair of wellington boots and slips unnoticed into the forest. There, a strange solitary creature leads the child among the nocturnal inhabitants, into a world where fear gradually gives way to curiosity and companionship.
Pierre-Luc Granjon uses pinscreen animation to create a tactile, dreamlike universe in which a child’s adventure becomes a story of courage, friendship and encountering the unknown.
