Ivica Perinović
Film critic, columnist, essayist, member of the Croatian Society of Film Critics and programme selector. He is a co-founder and secretary of Kino klub Zadar and writes for Filmovi.hr and eZadar.
On the selection
“That is why I am interested in the questions these films raise. How free are we in choices we consider our own? How deeply are we shaped by where we come from and the circumstances in which we grow up and live? Can we remain true to ourselves when we are expected to accept someone else’s rules, opinions or version of reality? And, perhaps most importantly, what can an individual do on realising that silence, too, has become a choice?”
