This October, Zadar becomes a world-class film city. From October 22 to 25, 2025, audiences can look forward to a free program of feature and documentary films, ranging from Cannes, Sundance, and Annecy to world and Croatian premieres.
The program brings acclaimed titles that have won awards and premiered at the most relevant international festivals. The films were part of the Un Certain Regard section in Cannes (where they won acting and jury prizes), premiered within the Cannes Première section at the Cannes Film Festival, and received awards at festivals such as Palm Springs (Bridging the Borders Award). Audiences will also have the chance to take part in Tolerance Talk discussions accompanying selected screenings, opening dialogue on important social topics. More titles will be announced soon, ensuring the Festival offers a diverse and engaging cinematic experience for all generations.
What makes the program special is the team behind the scenes – artistic advisor Dina Pokrajac and selectors Snježana Tribuson, Boško Picula, and Ivica Perinović. Together, like true masters, they have crafted the Festival’s “cocktail mix”: a blend of emotion, critical sharpness, authorial vision, and local sensibility. Their selection guarantees that every film will be an experience worth sharing.
